HARD-WORKING, FASCINATING AND EASY TO KEEP
Let nature help tidy the tank
Bladder snails spend their day exploring glass, plants, hardscape and substrate. They are useful scavengers, but they are not a replacement for regular aquarium care. Their numbers respond to available food, so avoid overfeeding if you want to keep the population balanced.
They reproduce readily in healthy freshwater aquariums. This makes them useful as a self-sustaining clean-up crew, and gives keepers an easy visual clue when excess food is entering the tank.
